Family SMS — Privacy Policy
What we collect
When you submit the Family SMS consent form at coreywatts.com/family-sms, Corey Watts collects:
- The name you provide
- The mobile phone number you provide
- Whether you are opting in or opting out
- Timestamp of submission
- Source page (always
/family-sms) - Your IP address and user agent
How we use it
This information is used only to:
- Send Watts family SMS notifications about family events, schedules, reminders, and household status notifications
- Process opt-in and opt-out requests
- Maintain proof of consent in case of dispute or carrier audit
What we do NOT do
Mobile information collected at sign-up will never be shared with or sold to third parties for marketing purposes. Phone numbers and SMS consent records are not sold, rented, traded, shared for marketing, used for lead generation, or shared with affiliates or third parties — except as strictly required to operate the SMS delivery service itself (Twilio, the telephony provider, acts as a processor under contract; Twilio does not receive consent records for marketing purposes).
Retention & deletion
When a recipient opts out (either via this form or by replying STOP to any message), their phone number is removed from the active sending list. Consent records may be retained in email or operator logs as needed to document the opt-out and prevent accidental re-subscription.
